What is this?
Hey there. There is a very useful (in my opinion) extension for Firefox, called "Tree Style Tab". When you have lots and lots of tabs opened, you might want to organize them in a tree-like structure, keeping related things together. Here is the extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/

And here is an excerpt from the description:
This extension provides the ability to work with tabs as "trees". New tabs opened from the current tab are automatically organized as "children" of the current tab. Such "branches" are easily folded (collapsed) by clicking on the arrow shown in the "parent" tab, so you no longer need to suffer from too many visible tabs. If you want, you can restructure the tree... (etc)
You can install the extension from here (Firefox only)
And now - every now and then one needs to name a node in a tree, like "Project XYZ", where we can keep stuff related to this category. And here is when this simple script comes in.
Usage
Just open this website in another tab, change its title to whaterver you want. Then, using Tree Style Tab extension, move all related
tabs to this newly created.
So, you can have a structure, like this:
- Project X (tab by tabTile)
- http://localhost/ProjectX (ordinary tab)
- Project Y (tab by tabTile)
- http://localhost/ProjectY (ordinary tab)
- Tasks (tab by tabTile)
- Some issue with...
- Free Time (tab by tabTile)
- The IT Crowd (ordinary tab)
- how to boil water for tea
